ARender helped this institution — governed by French and European Law and member of the Eurosystem — digitize operations and formerly manual processes. Our involvement was part of the FIBRE project, which aimed at modernizing operational systems as well as digitizing and archiving documents for non-financial CAC 40-listed companies.
What the institution needed
The bank was looking for an expert ECM partner to bolster its teams. The organization had previously implemented an ECM solution but had trouble viewing and manipulating documents in different formats. What’s more, employees found it difficult to navigate the viewer’s interface and a lack of customization options proved a real drag on their work. The institution trusted Arondor’s ARender viewer thanks to its rendering quality and wide range of readable document formats.
ARender comes into play
Our ARender viewer handles more than 300 image formats (JPG, PNG, EPS, etc.) as well as Zip, PDF, multi-media and CAD files. It has several annotation features that allow employees to add important information to any document, but also boasts two advanced features: Document Builder and Document Compare. The former lets users create new documents from one or several source documents, while the latter compares two existing versions of the same document and highlights anything that has been added, modified or deleted. But what really convinced la Banque de France were the customization features available for the interface, which help facilitate collaboration across teams, departments and business units.
End result
Arondor is a certified IBM FileNet partner and our Professional Services teams were easily able to implement ARender into the FileNet ECM solution. Administrators then had the freedom to customize the interface for each department. Despite its many varied features, the viewer has been adopted by all of the institute’s different divisions thanks to its incredibly user-friendly interface. Furthermore, ARender’s excellent performance has streamlined all business processes. As a satisfied customer, La Banque de France appreciates that Arondor was able to provide the perfect solution to all their upstream needs. The bank has since launched a new project to extend the ARender solution to 90% of their employees.
